BOTOX® Cosmetic Injections

BOTOX® Cosmetic injections are a safe, well-proven method of temporarily softening lines and wrinkles of the face. BOTOX® Cosmetic is injected into a very small area of the muscle beneath the line or wrinkle. The BOTOX® Cosmetic temporarily relaxes this area of the muscle, thereby softening the lines and wrinkles the muscle is causing. Because only a very small area of muscle is affected, the face is able to move naturally during expression. BOTOX® Cosmetic is used most commonly to soften frown lines between the eyebrows, horizontal wrinkles of the forehead, and fine lines and wrinkles (commonly known as crow's feet) around the eyes.
